LEO ACADEMY, also known as ‘LEO’, refers herein to a brand owned by MD Online sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Poland, Polsce, ul. Kłobucka 7, 02-699 Warszawa. Tax identification number 521 363 95 10. LEO Academy provides online language tuition and teaching materials for users of the platform.

These are understood as normal working days, from Monday to Friday, with the exception of national holidays.

Individuals, businesses or institutes being a recipient of LEO Academy’s services.

For users under the age of 18, lessons are only available at the express consent of a parent or legal guardian.
5. TEACHERS

5. TEACHERS

All our teachers are native speakers and professionally-trained educators who provide online teaching services regarding their native language in cooperation with LEO Academy.
6. LESSONS

6. LESSONS

LEO Academy provides online language tuition using video conferencing sites, such as Zoom. Teaching is aimed to be engaging, interactive and informative. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with 40-45 minutes spent in direct contact with the teacher.
7. METHOD OF PAYMENT

Payment is made via the secure enrolment form from PayPal. We can provide an invoice if required. Lesson prices can be found on the prices page.
8. BOOKING CONFIRMATION

After processing your request and payment, LEO will send a confirmation email with details of the lesson, usually on the same working day.
9. ONLINE CONDUCT

Users need to be respectful and polite at all times. The following is prohibited: content that defames, harasses, threatens, discriminates or is in any way obscene; discussions of illegal activities with the intent to commit them; advertising and commercial solicitation. Users who beach these guidelines will be muted and blocked from further lessons with LEO Academy.

LEO Academy complies with the amendment of the provisions on the protection of personal data and the application from 25 May 2018 of the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council (EU) no. 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation)

LEO reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. The applicable Terms and Conditions are published on MD Online’s website with its effective date indicated. These Terms and Conditions and any contracts between MD Online and the Client shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Polish Courts.

Whilst all efforts are made to ensure we keep to the advertised agenda of online visits to the countries in each package, because of the nature of online classes, it is possible there may be alterations which are out of our control, i.e., technical problems. In this case, the online visit will be conducted by a teacher from a different country.

We record the online lessons for safety reasons and quality control. Recordings are not shared or distributed without the explicit permission of the parents.

The summer camp travel experiences are aimed at children, so parents and other adults can assist them only in background, rather than actively communicate during the lesson. If adult communication disturbs the lesson at the expense of the children, they will be muted. We can arrange travel experiences for adults wishing to share a travel experience with their friends or in a larger group.

Terms and Conditions and any contracts between Ecorrector and the Client shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
